Engineer AbdullahAl-Abdulkareem has held several key leadership positions within the Saline Water Conversion Corporation (now the Saudi Water Authority)

His last role was as Deputy Governor of Planning and Development before being appointed as President of the Saudi Water Authority(SWA).

He also served as General Manager of Strategic Planning and Budgeting, leading multiple strategic committees and heading teams for planning and development programs. 

He managed the Planning and Development sector at the Saline Water Conversion Corporation(SWCC), overseeing the development of advanced strategies and operational models within a comprehensive program aimed at achieving optimal efficiency, business development, and service quality.

Al-Abdulkareem has achieved significant successes in both public and private sectors, especially in the water industry, and has actively contributed to various local and international forums to advance the desalinated water sector.

He played a key role in developing and implementing strategies to enhance the efficiency of seawater desalination production and transmission operations through his leadership positions at the Saline Water Conversion Corporation.

He led the Corporation's team in the Privatization Program file, which culminated in the Cabinet's approval to establish the Water Transmission Company and endorse the production asset privatization model.

Moreover, he adopted numerous strategic management and development methodologies to boost effectiveness through sustainable economic governance.

Al-Abdulkarim holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from King Saud University in Riyadh.

Mr Abdulrahman Al-Zughaibi serves as the Deputy Minister of Environment, Water, and Agriculture for Economic Affairs and Investment. 

With over 30 years of diverse experience, his expertise spans finance, corporate development, strategy, governance, privatization, government administration, and accounting.

His knowledge and experience extend across multiple sectors, including banking, investment management, investment banking, consulting, telecommunications, aviation, airport management, real estate development, water and agriculture, and financial auditing.

He has held leadership roles in restructuring, privatization, and transformation programs and projects and serves on the boards of various governmental institutions and companies.

Mr. Al-Zughaibi holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree from King Saud University.

During his tenure as CEO and Head of Infrastructure Consulting, he achieved several milestones, notably developing a sustainability model to facilitate meeting the short-term financing needs of the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) program.

He has also led consulting teams in several successful commercial transactions from 2021 to the present.

He has been a board member and member of the executive committee at Saudi Post since 2021 and serves as a consultant for Al-Tayyar Company regarding wealth management and for Offsets Group. He holds a Bachelor's degree with honors in Arts, with a dual major in Economics and Political Science.

Assistant Deputy for Budget Policy and Governance at the General Budget Agency, Ministry of Finance.

Dr. Majed Al-Rasheed has diverse expertise across several important fields, currently serving as the head of Majed Al-Rasheed Professional Consulting Company.

He is also a member of various arbitration committees, including the Saudi Center for Commercial Arbitration and the Shanghai and Lo Hai centers. Previously, he held the position of Secretary-General of the Bankruptcy Committee at the Ministry of Commerce, as well as Chief Executive Officer of the Saudi Center for Arbitration and Vice Chairman of the Shariah Committee at the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority.

Dr. Al-Rasheed has over 20 years of experience in commercial law and Islamic banking in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which includes extensive experience in establishing new organizations that intersect with the fields of Sharia, law, accounting, finance, management, and planning.

He holds a PhD and a Master's degree from the Higher Judicial Institute, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Sharia from Imam Muhammad ibn Saud University and a degree in Computer Science from King Saud University.

Mr. Sami Al-Makhdob serves as the CEO of Knowledge Economic City and leads a group of investment and real estate companies. He is also a board member of the Saline Water Conversion Corporation(SWCC) and a member of the committee for the development of Prince Mohammed bin Salman City.

 He played a key role in establishing Bank Albilad, overseeing the creation of over 50 branches of the bank and 80 branches of the bank's "Injaz" ATMs.

 Mr. Al- Makhdob holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering with honors from King Saud University and has completed numerous courses in investment and leadership.

Mr. Khalil Al-Watban's expertise spans over 35 years in both the public and private sectors, marked by his leadership of numerous boards of directors and their associated committees.

He has served as the Deputy Minister of Economy and Planning for Sectoral and Regional Development, as well as Vice President of Strategy and Planning at the Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Ma'aden) and President of Ma'aden Phosphate Company.

Additionally, he has held various leadership roles in major Saudi companies, including Vice President of Projects at Marafiq and General Manager of Projects and Technical Affairs at SABIC Agricultural Nutrients (formerly known as Safco).

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Basra.
