The Water Transmission Company (WTCO) participated in the Saudi–US Water Summit, which brought together leading experts and decision-makers from both Saudi Arabia and the United States to strengthen partnerships and exchange expertise in water resource management and sustainability.
During its participation, the company showcased its ambitious plans to develop water transmission infrastructure and adopt smart transmission lines that utilize the latest technologies in monitoring and control. These efforts aim to enhance water transmission efficiency, promote digitalization and governance, and improve operational performance.
The company affirmed that these initiatives come as part of its commitment to achieving the National Water Strategy’s objectives and ensuring sustainable water supplies across the Kingdom, in alignment with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 toward a more advanced and sustainable water sector.
